On November 2, 2018, ADMAF founder, H.E. Huda I. Alkhamis-Kanoo, attended the Reina Sofia School of Music for the celebration of the 80th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sofia, which took place in Madrid. The Reina Sofia School of Music is a strategic partner of ADMAF and the Abu Dhabi Festival on cross-cultural collaborations. The celebration consisted of a concert by Freixenet Symphony Orchestra of The Reina Sofia School of Music, conducted by Placido Domingo with Raquel de Benito and Samuel Palomino on the viola, and Hayk Sukiasyan on the cello. The repertoire included Bach’s Symphony No. 6 and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
