Noor Al Suwaidi
Biography
Al Suwaidi’s work can be best described as a kaleidoscopic trip into colourful canvases and variegated works on paper, oscillating between portraiture and figurative abstraction. Born in 1981, she grew up in Abu Dhabi and studied at the American University of Sharjah. She holds a BA from the American University, Washington D.C., USA and an MA in Curating Contemporary Design from Kingston University, London, UK. Her first solo exhibition was in 2011. Al Suwaidi is also a curator of exhibitions in the UAE and the USA.
