Biography
Noura Al Ali is a visual artist from Abu Dhabi. She studied at Zayed University’s College of Art and Creative Enterprises. Noura creates mixed media artworks, paintings, photographs and sculptures. Her works are a record of her emotional response to everything around her. Noura finds that art can express her thoughts more than words can do.
Artist Statement:
“Feelings inspire me. I explore landscape in a nostalgic and emotional way. I like to combine natural found materials with synthetic materials to construct a miniature world all of my own: A world that exists only in my mind and my dreams. I use a lot of elements from nature to express my state of mind, like mountains, trees, sea and sky. This is my way to convey my feelings through a process of healing, transformation and moving forward.”
